Birmingham based Zerosum loves music through and through. Having grown up listening to punk and metal he picked up the guitar when he was aged 15. “I was in a punk band and we played at a school disco. Everyone hated us. We were terrible and we didn’t really know what we were doing, but to me that didn’t matter”, he reminisces. This is where a love of making uncompromising music started. He found drum n bass as a student at University and started to make it after graduating.

Having had releases on a string of labels first as Cynic, then more recently as Zerosum he still has a passion for crafting breaks and heavyweight bass. “I’m no spring chicken. I’ve been to gigs, festivals and clubs for more than twenty years now. All that experience keeps inspiring me to make new cutting edge music.”
